Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Mount Vernon Trail

The Mount Vernon Trail is turning 50 and the Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail is planning #MVT50 – a celebration of a truly monumental trail. We will honor five decades of natural beauty, community partnership, and volunteer stewardship of one of the great public resources that makes the Washington area special.
